Exhortation to Wisdom
Prov.7:1-3
1. My son, keep my words, and lay up my commandments with thee. 2. Keep my commandments and live; and my laws as the apple of thine eye:
Keep my commandments and live;
Lev.18:5> Ye shall therefore keep my statutes, and my judgments: which if a man do, he shall live in them: I am the LORD.
Prov.4:4> He taught me also, and said unto me, Let thine heart retain my words: keep my commandments, and live.
Isa.55:3> Incline your ear, and come unto me: hear, and your soul shall live; and I will make an everlasting covenant with you, even the sure mercies of David.
my laws as the apple of thine eye:
